JoEllyn and Micky met while both serving as Assistant Deputy Public Defenders in Cumberland County, NJ. They were paired together as trial partners and successfully defended many clients together. Realizing their potential as a team, they decided to open a firm offering unmatched advocacy for South Jersey residents.
JoEllyn and Micky had a vision for a law firm that offered two attorneys per client from the beginning of their representation--that's two different minds, two different backgrounds, and two different levels of experience. All of this ensures that each client gets maximum bang for their buck. They envisioned giving each client the benefit of a thorough, in depth, all encompassing overview of their file prior to any decision making. This led to the development of the pretrial roundtable. Jones & Ortiz P.A. offers each client, included in the fee, an opportunity to sit down with both attorneys to review discovery, and come up with an attack plan for the best possible outcome.
